Commitment to training is absolute. O’Brien understands that a skilled workforce is key to supporting the growth of the company and realises that people are happier in their work if they are confident and properly trained.
O’Brien values the skills and expertise of the workforce and is committed to developing each employee so that they are appropriately trained and proficient in their work. O’Brien reviews training plans regularly to keep them up-to-date and to make sure that they includes new starters, as well as making provision for refresher training for more experienced workers.
There are no limits or boundaries in terms of progression within the company; O’Brien encourages staff to take a proactive approach to their job and put themselves forward for training that would develop their skills, as well as consulting with staff to discuss ways in which they can advance their career. O’Brien operates an apprentice training scheme and there is always someone available to discuss training options with you.
