O’Brien offers the very latest high technology laser levelling equipment to provide clients with the most cost effective solution for large-scale earthwork requirements.

Utilizing Trimble’s 3D and laser based technology O’Brien can offer practical solutions for all mass excavation, site preparation and fine grading requirements. It is particularly effective for preparation works for floor slabs, parking areas and road works.

This ground-breaking technology ensures that it will save contract time, materials and site management resources; basically saving money.

O’Brien will lay up to 4000 m2 in one day with an accuracy of +/- 5mm, incorporating any materials from well graded soils to hardcore and laid to any fall or cross fall required. The machine will constantly check and control the levels thus avoiding the need for reworking.

The Trimble 3D control system can be used on more complex projects where the digital design data from the design/CADsoftware can be converted for guidance of the blade control.
